Tournament Park Rules
Gate fees are $4 for adults, $2 for
children over 6. Any team whose fan(s) do not pay gate fee will be subject to
forfeiture of game. Please make sure your parents and fans are aware of
admission prices.
NO SMOKING INSIDE PARK GATES!! No tobacco use on the fields or dugouts during games.
Birth certificates must be presented
upon demand by the Tournament Director. Failure to present birth
certificate upon demand will result in forfeit of game.
No in-field practice allowed and no soft
toss against fences. Please clean up your dugout after the game. Do not warm up
in areas adjacent to spectator seating, concessions, or gates.
Each team will provide two (2) Diamond
DOL-A or Rawlings ROL-A baseballs for each
game.
Game Length: 6-8 year olds - 6 innings
or 1 hr 15 min; 9-14 year olds-6 innings or
1 hr, 40 min. Game times may
be adjusted due to weather, number of teams, etc. No ties and no time limits on championship games. In case of
rain, a game shall be official after 3 complete innings. Run Rule will be in
effect.(20 after 1, 15 after 3, 8 after 4).

Substitution: In all age divisions
starters may re-enter in their original position in the batting order.
Non-starters are not allowed to re-enter. When a starter re-enters, the player
in the starter's position in the batting order must be taken out of the game and is ineligible
for the remainder of the game.
Pitchers
are prohibited from wearing anything on either arm (including a batting glove
worn under a fielder’s glove, unless the batting
glove is factory-attached to the fielder’s glove). The only exception to
this rule is a skin colored wrap or bandage utilized for medical
purposes.
An Extra Hitter is allowed in all
divisions.
At any time, a courtesy runner may be
provided for the pitcher and catcher. The courtesy runner can
be pinch ran for using any player currently not in the game. If no players are
on
the bench, the player who made the last out may be used.
Protests will be ruled on immediately. If
you wish to protest, you must notify the umpire prior to the next pitch. The
umpire shall stop the game and summon the Protest Committee. The manager of
the protesting team must present a $100 protest fee to the committee before
the protest will be accepted. Protest fee shall be returned if the protest is
upheld. No protest of the umpire judgment calls allowed.

When in doubt …show up.
Team listed second or on bottom of bracket
(in both pool and bracket play) shall occupy the 3rd base
dugout. Home team determined by coin toss in pool games only; in bracket
games, highest seeded team is home team.
Home team shall will be responsible for
the game report form provided by the umpire and return it to the umpire after
your game. In addition, your team's pitching records should be kept up to date
using the "Team Pitching Record." Be prepared to show this
record to the opposing team or Tournament Official at any time.
Pool games may end in a tie. Tie
Breaker for post-pool seeding: 1st Head to
Head, 2nd -runs allowed (all games), 3rd runs scored
(all games), 4th
coin flip.
An attempt must be made to slide in to
the base if the play is going to be close. Footballing is prohibited!
Players will not razz, chant,
chatter or cast slurring remarks to or about players of opposing teams,
coaches or umpires. The practice of yelling "swing,"
"cut," "swing batter," or any other phrase, chant, or
chatter designated to cause a batter to swing at a pitch against their will is
not allowed. Heckling, including hand clapping or any other disruptive
activity toward the opposing pitcher is not allowed. Violation will
first result in a verbal warning to the coach of the offending team. A
second violation will result in the ejection of the coach of the offending
team. A third violation will result in forfeiture of the game by the
offending team.
No air horns, boom boxes,
radios, cowbells or other noise making devices are allowed. Managers shall be
responsible for the actions of their team and fans.
Ejected players shall sit out (in the
dugout) the remainder of the game. If the ejection occurs after the game, the
player shall sit out the next game. Ejected managers, coaches, or spectators
shall remove themselves to the parking lot and not return inside the fences
for the remainder of the day. A second ejection will make the person
ineligible to return to the Tournament at all.
There will be a $150 fine ($50 per
game) assessed to a team that forfeits a game for any reason.
